Whatever You Give A Woman

This is so true.

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.
If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit."

After 38 wonderful years, I can give vivid documentation to these simple lines.

Thanks to ScaryLarry for the forward.

Orwellian Logic

The America of now is one where Orwellian logic rules. Redistribution of wealth is fairness. Taxes are patriotic. The free market should be a regulated market. Big government is good for you. Politicians know what kind of health care is best for you. Choice should be limited, except when it comes to abortion. Power comes from being powerless. Progressive education is designed to promote progress toward socialism. Race doesn't count unless a person of color tells you it counts. Higher education gets lower each year. Those who create our problems should be asked to solve them. Religion should be a private matter that does not inform public morality. Liberal is radical. Free speech is selective speech. Courage is impetuousness.
This post is worth the read.

Brits Throw Jesus Under The Bus

Since America kicked the Sun-Never-Sets crowd in the War of 1812 they have been going downhill as a nation. We bailed them out of two World Wars and you would think that the former, wonderful historically and tradition ladened, British Empire would have been able to pick themselves up and once again grow a pair. The biggest pair in the 20th century was Churchill. Sadly, the last Prime Minister of England (now often called the UK in keeping with the woosy EU mindset) to have a big pair was Margaret Thatcher. Tony Blair, though the pair was small, had them. The islamification of Europe has taken a bitter bite of the once proud and magnificent concept of British Common Law that dates back to when King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215AD. As an Anglophile I take great interest in the history and culture of England (sorry, "England" is not PC - my bad). Well, the Brits have just crossed another line into dimmitude. Jesus is finally banished and thrown under the bus. The Brits seem to think it is only fair to not offend (guess who) convicts in prison. So much for the rights of Anglicans or other Christian traditions. At least the Salvation Army, founded in London in 1865, is safe. Oops, too late for that one. Things are really digressing fast on the other side of the pond.

Its rare that we repeat a post at Too Much Liberty, but this will become a "Holiday" standard :)

Global Warming Carol, part the second

The other day, I gave you the Global Warming Carol.  The folks over at Minnesotans For Global Warming came up with their own, and you will find it below.  Be sure to follow the link and give them a visit.  Set the Flamingo Free!

A few Questions for the Secret Service

John Friedman over at 23/6 has a few questions he would like to ask the Secret Service.  They pretty much sum up what was on my mind:

1. Shouldn't you have jumped in front of that shoe?

2. Shouldn't you have jumped in front of that second shoe?

3. Second shoe = the one thrown after being removed from foot after first shoe was thrown.

4. Let's say people had three feet. Would you have allowed a third shoe to fly unimpeded?

5. While the shoe was in the air, were you like, "Oh, its just a shoe."

6. Same question about the second shoe.

7. Do you think this is funny, "Throw a shoe at me once, shame on--you. Throw a shoe--you throw a shoe, you can't throw a shoe again."

8. Is there not "protection training" for lunatics launching objects?

9. Let's say there isn't training for that--but do they tell you that if someone does throw (or shoot) something to be on the alert in case they want to repeat this behavior?

10. Where were you?
Now, the shoes shown above are definately dangerous, and I'm not sure that a size 10 loafer is a certain risk to the POTUS, but John raises some valid points.

I think its great that the Iraqis are celebrating their new culture of speech and press freedom.  I hope they don't forget that there are certain other freedoms they have there now, as well--namely the freedom not to be assaulted during lawful conduct.

That may take some getting used to for them after the reign of Saddam, and all... their crash course in democracy and western thinking has been fairly short, and only time will tell if it sticks.

I find it somewhat ironic that the oldest civilization in the world needed civilizing.

Final thought for the day:  Did you know that Col. North has an acronym for The President Elect?  Well, if the sitting President is POTUS, that makes Barry, PEBO.  Say that a few times and try not to smile.

In God We Trust

MSNBC has a poll asking whether or not the term "In God We Trust" should remain on US currency. Let's give a vote to let NBC and the rest of the MSM know the real wishes of gun totting, Bible reading church goers.

You know what?

I'm sick and frikken tired of everybody heading up a government program getting dubbed a "Czar".

I mean, c'mon, emperor?  Seriously, this is America.

And why do we need a car emperor?

I take that back... with our country trying to nationalize everything from Wall Street to home loans, I, for one, welcome our new car overlords.   Heh.  It would be funnier if it weren't really happening.

California Proposition 8 Backlash

Proposition 8, for anyone who has been living under a rock, was a California ballot proposal that would amend the state constitution to define "marriage" as being between one man and one woman. It did nothing to limit or ban domestic partnerships. The vote in favor of Proposition 8 passed by a 52.3 to a 47.7 margin with a tremendous turnout of 77.5% of the voters (source). Seemed like a done deal where a clear majority of the voters made their intentions clear even though the gay community were a tad disappointed. In a sane world that would have been the end to it. There is no longer a sane world. There were many demonstrations within the gay community, some bordering on the bazaar, even by California standards. Supporters of the proposition have been tormented and harassed. To show their disgruntlement and to attempt to just piss other people off, some in the gay community have decided that if they took a day off then all of those who voted for the proposition would have a change of heart and demand that another proposition be on the ballot and repeal the one that just passed. Yeah, like that will happen. I don't know if a Day Without A Gay is meant to be national or just in California. If it is national, look around where you work and check out who may not be there tomorrow. Is the person really sick?

Heh, a thought for the week:

"If anyone should fear a Depression, it should be journalists, who are already the equivalent of 1980s steelworkers. But instead, they seem positively giddy with anticipation at the prospect of a return to ’30s-style hardship–without, of course, the real hardship of the 1930s. . . . Oh the thrill of imagining a Great Depression. It’s an opportunity for Great Design and Really Cool Government." --Virginia Postrel

This was from a comment to an article at one of my favorite blogs, Maggie's Farm.  You'll find good Yankee sense there.

Stop by and check them out if you get the chance.

Virginia makes a good point.  Big Media really needs to be careful how they sell the economic downturn.  News companies are already taking it in the shorts--just look at the Tribune Company.

They sure are trying their hardest to turn this into a full-fledged depression, though, if the headlines are any indication.  The thing is, though, this doesn't really remind me of what I was told about the Great Depression.

First of all, its in color.

Second, and less flip, while jobless numbers are up, it really doesn't seem that crappy--you know,
unless you work for a newspaper who failed to adapt to the internet, Wall Street wizards making shady back-room deals, kow-tow to parasitic labor organizations (GM pays an average of $32/hr to its UAW employees) intent on killing their host, or make a habit of making loans to people who are unlikely to pay you back.

Aparently, and this may come as a shock, if you have a bad business model or tend towards making poor and unethical decisions, or you allow your pensions, medical plans, and ridiculous salaries for assembly line workers to exceed your sales, your business will fail.

Time for some Blasphemy,

Satire, and assorted humor.  This made me laugh so hard I may need to replace my keyboard due to high pressure nasal-coffee expuslion.  No matter who you are, if you have no sense of humor, you are likely to be offended by this video.  Enjoy!

See more Jack Black videos at Funny or Die

Personally, I could care less who other people are sleeping with.  If 2 dudes find it necessary to shack up together, whatever.  I mean, it could be worse than having two snappily-dressed guys with a well groomed lawn and a penchant for throwing a nice dinner party in the neighborhood.

Besides, if it offends your religious sensibilities, just keep in mind, at least they are unlikely to reproduce.

Now, on the other hand, why do they need governmental sanction to shack up?  Why do we need a constitutional anything that defines marriage or allows marriage for gays?  Seriously, doesn't government have better things to do?

Particularly in a state like Califonia, which is about to go bankrupt.  The only real reason government is still involved in marriages is generation of revenue through marriage license fees
 and taxation.

For that matter, I'm against government performing civil "marriages" between heterosexuals.

Marriage is, in my opinion, a covenant (that is, a holy vow) between a man and a woman.  Holy, denotes that it is religious by nature.  If we are really separating church and state, government
 has no business there.

And as such, I find it repugnant that I need a "license" to be legally married.  Again, I don't think government has any business in this at all.

It all boils down to governmental control.  Do you think we need more governmental control in our lives?

Anyhow, that's my 2 centavos... I'm interested to hear what my co-authors have to say, particularly since I think I am the more libertarian of we three.

Currently, I'm bothered

by the Somali Pirates. Not directly bothered, of course, just in general bothered.

Now, I know that they are really just illiterate thugs, but c'mon, don't they know what happens to African pirates that mess with shipping?  Well, nothing actually.  Europe has a history of appeasing African pirates.

Eventually, they are going to take an American flagged vessel.  Then we'll see if we have a
 Decatur or Eaton left.

I am annoyed that we do nothing.  These government-less thugs, from a "country" I already don't like from our history with it in the '90's, feel free to disrupt international trade and ask millions in ransom.  You'll note I gave this a Terrorism tag.

I want us to take the USS Wisconsin out of mothballs and begin shelling.

Millions for defense, not one penny for tribute.

Fred! On The Economy

Fred Thompson is still one of my favorites. He did not come close to getting the nomination because, perhaps, he made too much common sense. As we know, "Common sense is not very common." This clip is another masterpiece of his wit that is heavily peppered with wonderful sarcasm. The clip runs over 8 minutes and you have to wait until the end for the wonderful line, "Ask not what your country can spend for you … as what you can spend for your country.” If you don't have the time for the full clip, watch a couple of minutes to get a Fred! fix of reality.

Department Of Energy

Absolutely The Funniest Joke Ever ! . . . ON US, the United States Taxpayer.
Does anybody out there have any memory of the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY during the Carter Administration? Anybody? Anything? No? Didn't think so.
Bottom line . . we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember. Ready? It was very simple, and at the time everybody thought it very appropriate. The Department of Energy was instituted 8-04-1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. Hey, pretty efficient, huh? Now it'S 2008, 31 years later, and the budget for this necessary department is at $24.2 billion a year. The department has over 16,000 federal employees, and approximately 100,000 contract employees. Look at all they have accomplished --- JACK SQUAT!! This is where you slap your forehead and say 'What was I thinking?' Ah yes, good ole bureaucracy. And now we are going to turn the Banking system over to them? God Help us.

Thanks to Sally for the info.

I posted a comment in response to a write-up (James Hibberd’ the Live Feed) on Rosie O'Donnell's catastrophic debut for her “variety show”.
My original post:
I do not dislike Rosie because s/he is gay, fat, or ugly. I do not dislike Barry Hussein Obama because he has a muslim name or because he is a slightly cocoa Alfred E Newman with huge ears. I love how libs MUST assume that the reason for their disapproval is race, sexuality, or religion (etc) - that way they can feel their ideas are ok.
I do not like Rosie because s/he is hyper-divisive, unfunny (ever since I first saw her on Evening at the Improv), and I do not like her political leanings. I wish those in the entertainment world would keep their politics a secret. I am proud that they have the right to say what they want and when they want - and wouldn't have it any other way. But GOD - I cannot stand to watch many of these loons at the theater or on TV now that I know what they actually think and wish for this country. It removes the illusion that entertainment should provide.
Barry on the other hand - I just do not believe in raising taxes in the middle of an economic downturn or just about any socialistic policy - which was his platform.Posted by:

A reply email received at TooMuchLiberty in response to the above– First, I cannot imagine what in my comment above would have prompted someone to click on my link and email TooMuchLiberty vice simply replying under the articles comments like most do? I am glad they did – but there were many much more hateful comments. Please read below with my snarky retorts following….
To Brother Malcolm:
Whose brother are you anyway? Alfred E. Newman? Who cares what color you are. Why are you so full of hate? Why are your ideas all right? Who made you the the judge for everyone? You take most of your time to hate rather than working to make this a better and more loving world. How pitiful you are. If people that are not like you bother you, why do you watch them? Maybe you're a liberal at heart and you just can't admit it. The wonderful and brilliant Barack Obama is going to go down in history as one of the great Presidents. You, on the other hand, are just going to go away and no one will ever know who you are or what you stand for. Just that you were a hate monger and a bigot. Maybe the lunatic and moron, Sarah Palin, can guide you to the bridge to nowhere. She certainly knows where it is. Or her husband, the separatist that hates America. Your friend, the liberal and admirer of our new GREAT PRESIDENT, BARACK HUSEIN OBAMA, YEAH!!!!!

Whose brother are you anyway?

I am my brother’s brother. And by brother - I do not just mean my brother
by relation (as I also have a sister – to who I am also a brother). I mean my fellow American’s, service members, friends, all those to whom I share common interests or ties, and I use it as an off-hand reference to the title used for various religious denominations.

Alfred E. Newman?

Alfred E. Newman – yes. Do you not know who he is? It's no biggie, he may have been more well known in a generation other than yours. Or you may very well know of him and didn't see the correlation - so here you go ------------------->

Who cares what color you are. Why are you so full of hate? Why are your ideas all right? Who made you the the judge for everyone? You take most of your time to hate rather than working to make this a better and more loving world. How pitiful you are. If people that are not like you bother you, why do you watch them?

This is where you lost me.... I tried to make it clear that I DID NOT care about Barry's color nor Rosie's sexuality, penchant for foodstuff's or general unattractiveness. I admire many African-Americans (NFL's Warrick Dunn and Hines Ward come to mind for their charitable works, or Colin Powell despite his recent mindblowing endorsement of Barry). One of my best childhood friends was black and one of my closer navy friends is black. Sorry to refute that one for you. Also, I never once mentioned HATE for anything - merely dislike. Let’s move on.

I am also not repulsed by Ellen Degenerous (sp?). I do not enjoy her humor - but she is not unfunny - like Rosie. Rosie makes her obnoxiousness her primary shtick as of late. Further, I am also a very big fan of my openly gay brother and his partner. Okay - so there's two down for your hate claims.

I also never claimed my ideas are necessarily RIGHT for everyone. They are, however, RIGHT for me. Much to the chagrin of many - I am able to express them - I just cannot force them onto others. The Internet forum provides for and encourages that silly!

I have already dispelled your hate claims - but I will go further as to "who I am to judge".

Judging, and one's judgment, is a fundamental composition of who WE are - One's SELF. I am free to make judgments and you may then, in turn, judge me on based on them. Do you not find the irony in that you have done exactly that? Further, you have done so inaccurately - by evoking the very stereotype that I projected onto liberals as a whole?! I wrote that Liberals tend to assume that those who refute their ideas - must do so solely because they are of some type of "IST" or practice some sort of "ISM". They do this because they (Liberals) can then attack a person, dismiss them as ignorant, and go one to assume their liberal ideas are just.

"Who are you to judge?" - is one of the most overly and misused sayings in current time (IMAO). I will not relinquish my ability to judge others. People are hired (or fired) for their ability to make sound judgments, friends are made (and lost) for the ability to judge what is yummy, funny, sad, entertaining, appropriate/inappropriate, etc. What’s more, people are then judged again based on whether or not they have learned from errs in past judgments..... Hopefully by now you get the idea. Who am I to judge? I am BrotherMalcolm, and when I stop judging I stop being me.

The wonderful and brilliant Barack Obama is going to go down in history as one of the great Presidents. You, on the other hand, are just going to go away and no one will ever know who you are or what you stand for. Just that you were a hate monger and a bigot.

I think you are a bit premature here. He isn’t even inaugurated yet. But with the media absolutely in love with him you never know. Additionally, he accomplished nothing of note during his brief time in politics. Being elected president is his biggest achievement thus far - and that is just sorry. You should not ascend to the highest office in the land based on promises alone - IMAO. If Barrack were not black then he would have had NOTHING that separates him from any other liberal - nothing. Similarly, Mrs. Palin has nothing to separate herself from conservatives other than that she is an new face and an attractive woman (well - there are Coulter and Malkin - but they are not politicians). What she does have is her conservatism (different then being a republican BTW) and the sad fact that there are actually few true conservatives in the republican party.

As for no one knowing what I stand for or who I am - I respectfully disagree. I proudly served in the US Navy for 7 years (there are records of this), I contribute to a few blogs including TooMuchLiberty (practicing our 1st Amendments Rights), I help my local animal shelter, I am an NRA member (protecting our 2nd Amendment Rights), and I serve our Founding Fathers best by NOT voting for liberals (had to jab you on that one - cha cha cha)!

I wish you well regardless of your race, sex, religion or creed, nationality, or politics.

I leave you with this quote often attributed to Winston Churchill - all the while assuming that you are about 25 years old -

"If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain."

Was Obama Elected By Stupid People? Update Added

I ran across this and thought that it was just too wonderful not to share.
" On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not."

This site seems to be one that will be ongoing. The video is ten minutes long. I had planned on viewing just a few minutes, but winded up watching the whole thing. OMG! Do these people actually represent the American electorate? For many years after the ratification of the Constitution only white males who were landowners were allowed to vote. Why? Because they could read and had a vested interest in the outcome of elections. Then, slavery was legal in many states and women were considered to have a bit more rights than chattel, thus depriving slaves and women from voting. Today there are no slaves and women are treated, at least in my experience, an equal to myself. Stupidity and a fascination with the MSM must be a factor. Who is to blame? I blame education by the State! Government supported education is designed to teach people what to think, not to educate the person so that they can think for themselves. I'm getting off on a rant. Enough on stupid people and government education. Let me add, though, I believe there is a big difference between someone who can not learn due to a disability, and those who can learn but end up stupid because of the ineffectual and biased education they receive [the interns we get in our office who are majoring in social work are a good example] and do nothing to educate themselves. The former have all the leeway I can give, the latter have none.

For an update and a validation check Ed Morrissey at Hot Air.

Response To Brother Malcom

I like your thinking. I dare not compete with you or Sean with math and physics. I would lose. Just a thought, though, Columb might have put it this way:
"A liberal attracts every other liberal in the universe with a proportional force equal to the product of their masses inversely proportional to the distance between them ." Almost a correlation as to how I relate to my pancreas. I love my pancreas!

Respnse to Oldman's Fairness Doctrine

Always raise the operative word in any title that a Liberal gives to a program, an act, or a doctrine (etc.) to the power of -1

i.e. from

A negative exponent just means that the base is on the wrong side of the fraction line, so you need to flip the base to the other side. For instance, "x–1" just means "x1, but underneath, as in 1/(x1)".

Essentially it is the inverse!

For my 8th grade Alegbra teacher - I showed all work.....

Fairness Doctrine ˉ¹ = 1 / Fairness

= Not Fair = Not Fair Doctrine

The Unfairness of the Fairness Doctrine

The Fairness Doctrine is a contrived law to limit free speech on radio stations. It was first enacted in 1949 but took on a new power in 1967 when various provisions were put into the power of the FCC. The intent was to provide for opposing, fair but balanced, views on almost everything. In 1974 the FCC stated that Congress had delegated it the power to mandate a system of "access, either free or paid, for person or groups wishing to express a viewpoint on a controversial public issue..." Orwellian 1984 came early. During Obama's campaign there were hints of re-enacting the Fairness Doctrine. Can you imagine the impact to radio stations when they have to conform to government regulated content? There has been little talk of the Fairness Doctrine re-enforcement since the election. Be suspicious! Every good program has a backdoor. Jim Boulet, Jr. at American Thinker has an understanding of how we will be doomed to repeats of Air America and a squashing of our First Amendment rights. The hell with Air America, I want free speech!!!

Pros: All Weather, Functional, True flight with my rig, Durable, Holds edge well

Best Uses: Hunting

Describe Yourself: Recreational Archer

I have only been shooting for 2 years and took my first deer a few weeks ago in the early archery season here in Western, PA. These broad-heads fly very true when compared to practice tips (field).
The true test was when I sent my arrow through a button-buck diagonally! No bs. He was broadside to me but jumped at my rather loud PSE Nova. I hit him quartering to me (2nd or 3rd rib - right side) and the arrow exited by his left rear hip! My bow is hardly a "super rig" - 260 fps tops with a 60 lbs draw. I bought 3 more the following week.

He Is My President

I would have preferred someone more conservative to have been elected. Actually, Fred Thompson would have been my choice, but he didn't make the cut. I may not respect Obama: respect needs to be earned. As President and Commander-in-Chief I will honor his position and authority. Time will tell. Regardless, he will be the President of the United States and, if not the person, the office deserves our respect. I pray that he does what needs to be done to keep America free and strong. I pray that his presidency may go down in history as being the most beneficial presidency for the history of the United States. Actually, today, I think it will be a FUBAR. I thank
God that there is power in prayer! To help keep conservatives sane, re-read the Federalist Papers, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. These readings will help keep us sane as to what our great country is about and what our mission is. Remember, we had to endure a Carter to get a Reagan. There will be another presidential election in 2012. Unless Sarah Palin makes some significant imprint on the electorate, Bobby Jindal will be the front runner for the Republican Party. I do not, currently, view the Republican Party to be conservative. There is always hope. Remember, "Si se puede!" AFGE!!!

Best Quote I've Seen today

In Obama’s America, we’ll finally be able to break free of the “constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution” — and in so doing, achieve “social justice” through “redistributive change.”
Well, then. Fine. But this is not the America I knew…

Who do you want answering that phone at 3 a.m.?

Charles Krauthammer has some very good insights as to the mettle needed to be the next President.
Who do you want answering that phone at 3 a.m.? A man who's been cramming on these issues for the past year, who's never had to make an executive decision affecting so much as a city, let alone the world? A foreign policy novice instinctively inclined to the flabbiest, most vaporous multilateralism (e.g., the Berlin Wall came down because of "a world that stands as one"), and who refers to the most deliberate act of war since Pearl Harbor as "the tragedy of 9/11," a term more appropriate for a bus accident?

Or do you want a man who is the most prepared, most knowledgeable, most serious foreign policy thinker in the United States Senate? A man who not only has the best instincts but has the honor and the courage to, yes, put country first, as when he carried the lonely fight for the surge that turned Iraq from catastrophic defeat into achievable strategic victory?

I have spoken to many combat hardened veterans who seem to have the general concept of, "I was never as scared in combat as I am of the coming election." Something to think about.

What You Don't Know Can Hurt You

I just happened about a site called 2008 Election: Never Find Out. The site has many different videos, not Republican ads. It presents many things to question about Obama. All things being equal, it does support Republican ideals but there are no claims to connection with the Republican Party or the McClain/Palin ticket. Each video runs for about a minute and has direct links to YouTube. Send the link off to others so that they nay have a better understanding of the importance of this election.

Joe The Plumber

"If it's meta-memes and meta-meta-narratives these media headlice want, so be it. I hope you will join me in expressing a simple bit of solidarity with this guy, Spartacus style. I AM JOE. I am a Wal Mart schlub in flyover country who changes my own oil and unclogs drains without a license. I smoke and drink beer and toss the football in the front yard with my kid, and I figure I can fend my way without handouts from some Magic Messiah's candy bags. Most everyone in my family and most everyone I grew up with is another Joe, and if you screw with them, you screw with me.

A Site For Sore Eyes

I get very tired of Youtube and the inane liberal videos and comments that are posted. The site is too bloated and a search for a particular video most often is plagued with left wing videos posted by moonbats. I just happened across a site that I find refreshing. It is not bloated with hundreds of million viewers and is dedicated to a conservative point of view. The site is PopModal. Take the time to check it out. It is well worth a visit.

Just in case you are stoopid, the following is humor:

Perhaps The U.S. Should Pull Out Of Illinois ?

Thanks to our political process,Illinois has a lot to offer:
Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin,
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.,
Gov. Rod Blogojevich,
House leader Mike Madigan,
Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),
Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)
.....the leadership in Illinois .....all Democrats.

Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

Regardless of the corruption of the legislation, the deficits are even more damning.

Body count: In this past summer Chicago, alone, has about doubled the amount of US troops killed in Iraq.

The Illinois pension fund is $44 Billion in debt, the worst in the country. Big frippin suprise!

Cook County (Chicago) sales tax is 10.25%; highest in the country. Illinois is also the highest if county and city rates are considered.

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

This is the political culture that Obama (community organizer) and his associate, Bill Ayers (domestic terrorist) comes from in Illinois.

'The One' has said that he will 'fix' Washington politics for us! Seems the fix is already in (ACORN and the dead that are voting); this time, though, it is on a national scale. Time to bend over and grab your ankles!

Update: Exploring Crap Sandwich 2.0

As I predicted yesterday, the video was pulled. It has resurfaced with minor changes, thanks to the censors at NBC. Michelle Malkin adds her wonderful insight for the reasons it was pulled and then reintroduced. She also provides a video regarding the Palin incest comments. Take the time to review Malkin's article. This a very accurate, in my opinion, comic portrayal of what we each get to take a bite.

Some things to consider...

I think we as Americans need to know this, as it will never be

on the news.  Please pass this on to everyone you know and care

about.  I am for action against

those who put us in this situation. I think where they are now is very scary.  I am tired of

 Bush being blamed for

everything.  I hope you have time to read all of this and will send it on.  I hope the silent majority will be alive and well

and ready to vote on election day.

Be sure to read the "where they are now"!!
Here is a quick look into 3 former Fannie Mae

executives who have brought

down Wall Street.                 Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae.  Raines was forced to

retire from his position with Fannie Mae  when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting activities. At the

time of his departure The Wall Street Journal noted, " Raines, who long defended the company's accounting despite mounting

evidence that it wasn't proper, issued a statement late Tuesday conceding that "mistakes were made" and saying he would assume

responsibility as he had earlier promised. News reports indicate the company was under growing pressure from regulators to shake up its management in the wake of

findings that the company's books ran afoul of generally accepted accounting principles for four years."  Fannie Mae had to reduce its surplus by $9 billion.

Raines left with a "golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the

 accounting scandal became clear.

/12/18/fannie-charges/ . The Government noted, "The 101 charges reveal how the individuals

improperly manipulated earnings to maximize their bonuses, while knowingly neglecting accounting systems and

internal controls, misapplying over twenty accounting principles and misleading the regulator and the public. The Notice

explains how they submitted six years of misleading and inaccurate accounting statements and inaccurate capital reports that enabled

them to grow Fannie Mae in an unsafe and unsound manner."  These charges were made in 2006.  The Court ordered Raines to return $50 Million Dollars he received in

bonuses based on the miss-stated Fannie Mae profits.

Tim Howard -  Was the Chief Financial Officer of

Fannie Mae. Howard "was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at

Fannie. In everyday English - he was cooking the books.  The Government Investigation determined that, "Chief Financial Officer, Tim Howard, failed to provide

adequate oversight to key control and reporting functions within Fannie Mae,"
On June 16, 2006, Rep. Richard Baker, R-La., asked the Justice

Department to investigate his allegations that two former Fannie Mae executives lied to Congress in October 2004 when they

denied manipulating the mortgage-finance giant's income statement to achieve management pay bonuses. Investigations by

federal regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger

bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard's Golden Parachute was

 estimated at $20 Million!

Jim Johnson -   A former executive at Lehman

Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO.   A look at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight's May

2006 report on mismanagement and corruption inside Fannie Mae, and you'll see some interesting things about Johnson. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had

hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it was $21

million."   Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie

Mae.   Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

FRANKLIN RAINESRaines works for the Obama Campaign as Chief Economic Advisor
TIM HOWARD?  Howard is also a Chief Economic Advisor to Obama
JIM JOHNSON?  Johnson hired as a Senior Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to run Obama's Vice Presidential Search Committee

Would you trust the men who tore Wall Street down to build the New Wall Street ?
