No Constitutional Right To Vote For President
One of my favorite harbingers is Ann Coulter. Her most recent post pulls together article 2, section 1 and the 12th amendment of our Constitution to explain the presidential election process and b-slap the H. Clinton and B. Hussein Obama campaign. The popular (majority) vote has never had the power to elect the president (something many liberals have found fault with).
The power to elect the president is left to the states through the electoral college. Coulter relates this fact to how the some Democrats are reacting to the prolonged dogfight between Obama and Clinton. It will be very interesting if the next election produces a new psychological disorder similar to the Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS). Just in case, I'll have my soda and popcorn ready to be able to sit back and watch the rabid entertainment as this election cycle revolves and the ensuing aftermath. Plans, hopes, and dreams will rapidly approach the event horizon of the black hole of the DC beltway constellation commonly known as BOHICA. As President Reagan once stated, "Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other. "
