AIG Bonus and Bailout Anger
It would seem that even the liberal news media (that is, most of it) has finally figured out that Americans are pissed off about the state of the economy, the repeated "bailouts" and now the bonuses paid to AIG executives.
I can't speak for all of America, but as you know, I won't hesitate to tell you what I think: My anger does not stem from the bonuses paid to the AIG execs.
I imagine that the liberal media has drunk so
much of the Obama Kool-Aid (henceforth, Obamanade) that they couldn't imagine America could be upset about the bailouts the Messiah said were necessary, so they lept on something their corrupted brains could understand: "Ooooh, the rich got richer! That must cause outrage!"
Oh, no. I really could give a rat's patootee about that. I'm STILL angry about the TRILLIONS of dollars of tax payer money that are being funneled down the rat holes of private corporations. I bet that's what most people are really worried about.
I figure, at that point, its gone, and a little late to start passing unconstitutional punitive taxes to attempt to aswage the public's anger.
Hey, news flash: If your company is too big to fail, its too big to manage, and perhaps you should be broken into little pieces that can be managed, or you should fail. No, really, you should fail. THAT is the American way. We are competitive in all things, and particularly business.
I think this "Too Big To Fail" thing is just more of this "Everybody gets a trophy" kind of crap that breeds entitlement and weakness into our system.
I think these sock-puppets in D.C. have grown so out of touch with what America really wants (which is mainly that they don't make things worse while they are there) that they really believe they are doing some good.
Its past time for term limits. Politician was never intended as a career path by our founding fathers. Its time to get these people out of there before they turn America into some economically defunct, morally failed Euro-State.
Your average Congressman or Obama Administration Flunky knows about as much about the economy and finance as I do.
Well, probably less, as I can figure out Turbo Tax.
