PC vs Mac

Something fun for a Friday evening. We have all seen the commercials that Mac is directing toward the college and younger crowd. I do find them amusing. My question is if you go with a Mac what is the transition experience once you leave college and enter the work world that is dominated by the PC format? Just a curious question because it is not a problem for me. Enjoy the video.

Let Them Fight or Bring Them Home

Let Them Fight or Bring Them Home This is a must read! Explore the blog. As can be expected from a USMC Sergeant Major, John Bernard, knows where reality and experience makes a difference. He pulls no punches as to how he views a situation. He has the concern for those who serve and the warrior mindset of how to conduct a war, best protect our country, and enhance the image of the USA. If politicians were in battle, they would definitely re-think the ROE. Let them spend a week, or so, with a USMC E-9 to get a better understanding about the real world. I originally found about him from at DianaWest.
There have been some phony arguments put forth for another “surge” in Afghanistan. We need not a surge of troops, we merely need to let our forces there do what needs to be done – kill the enemy.

Way Am I A Conservative Republican

Does Congress Really Care About The Voter?

Congress does not seem to give a sh*t. According to a Rasmussen poll, 57% of voters want to replace the entire congress! Most members of Congress have lost touch with what it means to be a servant of those who elected them and what they promised when they ran for office. I urge you to read this post that was well written and seemed to address the subject of how our elected officials may try to push the Obomacare down our throats or up somewhere else.

If the population isn’t furious about that, then we have reached the end of this chapter in American history – a chapter that began with a sprawling agrarian nation mastering the power of industry to defeat world-conquering monsters, and rebuild the broken nations of its grandparents. I do not believe that chapter will end with a tired, timid people agreeing they cannot be trusted to take care of their own bodies, but I speak from faith, not prophecy.

Celebrities And Obamacare

Liberals, Progressives, Commies, etc.

"Throughout the world, in the name of progress, men who call themselves communists, socialists, fascists, nationalists, progressives, and even liberals, are unanimous in holding that government with its instruments of coercion must by commanding the people how they shall live, direct the course of civilization and fix the shape of things to come. . . . The premises of authoritarian collectivism have become the working beliefs, the self-evident assumptions, the unquestioned axioms, not only of all the revolutionary regimes, but of nearly every effort which lays claim to being enlightened, humane, and progressive." -Walter Lippmann, The New Republic, 1937

This was written on the eve of Europe going to war and during the Great Depression and the New Deal in America that was created at great cost. Am I the only one, but does this sound familiar?
